Why JPEG?

The generation of JPEG file is fast, the size is small and the post processing is not needed. It brings out, faithfully, your settings in the camera menu such as saturation, color, contrast, etc. You could fill lots of JPEGs per GB of card. So JPEG is surely the right choice for the final image document distribution and easy backup that requires no lossless images and re-editing.
